After witnessing the Ferris State Bulldogs fall against Michigan at Yost, I didn't know what to expect watching the game in Big Rapids. The result wasn't anything anyone expected.
The game was a scoreless tie after 3 full periods of play. The Wolverines had a majority of the scoring chances in the game, but just could not beat Ferris goaltender Mike Brown. In overtime, Matt Rutkowski took his first shot on net this season and it bounced over the pad of Al Montoya and into the open net. The sold out crowd erupted and the Bulldog bench cleared. It was the second OT victory over Michigan in a row up in Big Rapids.
I am behind on my pictures, but I am working on them. :)
