Wayne State freshman center Adam Krug had four points in the Warriors split against Bowling Green last weekend to earn College Hockey America Rookie of the Week honors.
After assisting on WSU's third goal on Thursday (which made the score 5-3), he recorded his first collegiate hat trick in Saturday's 9-3 victory in Ohio. Krug scored the first goal of the game, while his two second period markers came in a school-record span of 45 seconds.
He was +3 on Saturday and scored his three goals on three shots.
