Contois Done at Northern Michigan


Contois's team leading 19 goals will
be missed next season in Marquette


Northern Michigan forward Andrew Contois, in a paperwork snafu, has apparently played his last game with the Wildcats.

Originally thought to have just completed his junior season, school officials are now saying he played his senior year in 2004-2005. Contois transferred from Lake Superior State in 2002.

Last season, Contois broke out and set career highs with 19 goals and 17 assists for 36 points. He also led the ‘Cats with 4 shorthanded markers.
