Wayne State inks top scorer for '06-07

Pat Lee led the Springfield Jr. Blues
in scoring with 33 goals and 76 points in 2004-2005

Springfield Jr. Blues forward Pat Lee has committed to Wayne State, but will not be eligible to play until the 2006-2007 season due to academic eligibility reasons.

The 21-year-old Schaumburg, Ill., native led the Jr. Blues in scoring this season with 33 goals and 43 assists for 76 points. Lee was also a First Team NAHL All-Star.

"Pat is one of the most dynamic players I have ever coached" said Jr. Blues head coach Nick Pollos. "Pat was one of those players who could take over a game. Wayne State is getting a tremendously skilled player in Pat. This is a great opportunity for Pat. He will be an asset to Wayne State University".

Lee becomes the 15th player to make his NCAA Division I commitment in the last two seasons for the Jr. Blues and will join WSU senior John May as ex-Jr. Blues on the Warriors.
