Jason Ryznar became the third graduating
Michigan player to sign a pro deal this week as the New Jersey Devils signed Ryznar to a rookie contract yesterday.
Ryznar, 22, was drafted by the Devils in the third round, 64th overall, back in 2002 after two years with the U.S. National Team Development Program.
Over his four years with the Wolverines, the Anchorage, Alaska, native scored 28 goals among 72 points and also rang up 118 penalty minutes in 145 games.
Classmates
David Moss (Calgary/NHL) and
Michael Woodford (Long Beach/ECHL) also signed earlier this week.
