Adam Welch (right) will occupy a familiar role for the 2006-2007 season as the junior defenseman will serve as Ferris State's captain for the second straight campaign.Senior left wing Mark Bomersback was chosen as an assistant captain.
"We're fortunate to have Adam once again as our team captain," said FSU head coach Bob Daniels, the program's all-time winningest coach. "He provided outstanding leadership to this last season's team. Adam is well respected by his teammates and the coaching staff.
"I'm confident both Adam and Mark will do a great job. Both possess great attributes and have continually demonstrated a committment to hard work."
