Northern Michigan's bid for a sixth straight twenty win season won't be easy as the Wildcats are slated to start the '06-'07 season on the road against the National Champion Wisconsin Badgers.
The "home" series will be played at the Resch Center on October 6th and 7th and will be followed up the next weekend with the traditional home-and-home series with the Michigan Tech Huskies.
Also notable on the grueling 36-game schedule is a visit to the Stampede Tourney in Omaha and a pair of non-conference games with the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs.
Last season the 'Cats finished with an overall record of 22-16-2 and tied for fourth in the CCHA at 14-12-2.
