Redshirt senior Jason Bloomingburg and redshirt junior Mike Forgie, a pair of forwards, will serve as co-captains for Wayne State this year, while senior forward Nate Higgins and senior defenseman Taylor Donohoe will be the assistant captains.
Bloomingburg, who served as an assistant captain last season, tallied 10 goals and 17 points in 35 games in 2005-06 and was second on the team with four power-play goals. Forgie had five goals and five assists in the first 14 regular-season games before suffering a season-ending injury in practice on Dec. 28. He scored twice and added an assist in his final game of the season last year, Dec. 10 against Merrimack.

He was also the third-leading point scorer for WSU last season, recording 10 goals and eight assists in 27 games.
Donohoe was one of four Warriors to play in all 35 games last season. He scored twice and had two helpers, all in conference games. He is also a two-time CHA All-Academic Team selection.
