Wayne State senior forward Tylor Michel, who completed his collegiate career at the end of the 2007-08 campaign, has signed a deal to play in the ECHL with the Bakersfield Condors.
Michel, who inked a deal with the California-based Condors on Saturday, posted an assist in each of his first two games. Michel accumulated 61 points in 123 games as a Warrior, matching career-highs in assists (15) and points (23) his senior year.
Michel joins defensemen A.J. Bozoian (Columbia Inferno) and Tyler Kindle (Fresno Falcons) and forward Jason Bloomingburg (Pensacola Ice Pilots) as former Warriors currently playing in the ECHL.
Stavros Paskaris, a forward who signed with the Dayton Bombers on March 20, was released on March 31.
