MiCHO Power Poll 10.29.08

The Michigan State Spartans are the new No. 1 team in the MiCHO Power Poll after their two wins last weekend over Northern Michigan.

Michigan got skunked by Boston University Saturday night after beating Niagara Thursday and falls to the second spot.

The rest of the poll also saw changes as Ferris State moved up to No. 5 and everyone else moved down a notch.

1) Michigan State, 3-2-1 (swept NMU)
2) Michigan, 4-2-0 (beat NU, lost at BU)
3) Northern Michigan, 2-3-1 (swept by MSU)
4) Michigan Tech, 1-3-0 (beat NTDP in exhibition)
5) Ferris State, 2-2-2 (beat, tied WMU)
6) Lake Superior, 1-2-1 (won two exhibitions)
7) Western Michigan, 1-4-1 (tied, lost to WMU)

Each week, MichiganCollegeHockey.com editors Matt Mackinder and Tom Balog will compile the MiCHO Power Poll. The poll will comprise the eight Division I teams in the state of Michigan.
