For Poyton it was her second hat trick this year, giving her 11 goals in 10 games this season.

Defenseman Jill Szandzik picked up a pair of assists and Delayne Brian registered 27 saves for her third straight win.

Brian and the Warrior defense held the Huskies off the board for the rest of the game to win their fourth straight and sixth out of their last seven games.

Kristi Kehoe scored twice in a 91-second span for the Huskies, giving her three goals on the weekend.

With the pair of victories, Wayne State moved to 6-2-0 all-time against Northeastern and 14-6-0 versus teams from Hockey East.
