Compiled by MiCHO Staff

Just two days after completing his final game as a Western Michigan Bronco, former senior captain Chris Frank has signed a contract to play with the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League.

Frank will finish out the rest of the season with the Rampage, the top minor-league affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League.

The Coyotes drafted the 6-foot-1, 220-pound defenseman in the seventh round (188th overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

The Lynnwood, Wash., native played in 149 career games with the Broncos, tallying eight goals and registering 26 assists. This season, Frank matched his career high in points, 12, that he set back during the 2006-07 season.
