Green Bay captain chooses Huskies

USHL Press Release

The Green Bay Gamblers announced that forward Patrick McCadden has committed to Michigan Tech University and will attend the school beginning in the fall of 2010.

McCadden was selected as team captain for the 2009-10 season and has recorded 17 points (4g, 13a) and a plus-11 rating while playing in all 36 games for the Gamblers. The Chesterfield, Mo., native netted the game-winning goal in consecutive games (12/31 vs. Des Moines and 1/2 vs. Youngstown) which was the first two games of a six-game point streak in which he posted nine points (3g, 6a).

It is the second USHL season for the 20-year-old who collected 14 points (4g, 10a) in 48 games while helping the Gamblers capture the Anderson Cup as regular season champions in 2008-09.

Two other current USHL players are committed to Michigan Tech: Waterloo Black Hawks defenseman Dan Sova and Sioux Falls Stampede forward Jacob Johnstone.
