MiCHO Power Poll 01.19.2011

Once again, Michigan sits at the top of the MiCHO Poll this week after a convincing home-and-home sweep of Ferris State last weekend.

Northern Michigan remains No. 2 after an off weekend, while Western Michigan grabs the third spot and Ferris the No. 4 rank.

Michigan State climbed up a notch after beating Lake Superior State and then suffering a shootout loss.

LSSU falls to No. 6, while the sad-sack Michigan Tech squad is mired in the bottom rank once again.

1) Michigan (swept Ferris State)
2) Northern Michigan (idle)
3) Western Michigan (win, shootout loss against Ohio State)
4) Ferris State (swept by Michigan)
5) Michigan State (win, shootout loss against Lake Superior State)
6) Lake Superior State (loss, shootout win against Michigan State)
7) Michigan Tech (tie, loss against St. Lawerence)

Each week, MichiganCollegeHockey.com staffers will compile the MiCHO Power Poll. Contrary to popular belief, there is no coin flip involved. The poll comprises the seven Division I teams in the state of Michigan.
