The Omaha Lancers announced that defenseman Mike Chiasson has committed to play collegiate hockey next season at the University of Michigan.
Chiasson, the son of the late NHL defenseman Steve Chiasson, collected 15 points (4g, 11a) and a plus-10 rating in 50 games during the regular season while serving as the captain of the Lancers.
