MiCHO Power Poll 11.16.2011

Ferris State is the new No. 1 team in the MiCHO Power Poll.

The Bulldogs beat Lake Superior State on Friday night and then suffered a shootout loss Saturday night.

Michigan dips to No. 2 this week, while LSSU jumps to No. 3.

Western Michigan lost both at home to Michigan State and slides to No. 4 this week.

Idle Michigan Tech is fifth, MSU moves to sixth and Northern Michigan drops to seventh.

2) Michigan (loss, shootout loss against Miami)
3) Lake Superior State (loss, shootout win against Ferris State)
4) Western Michigan (swept by Michigan State)
5) Michigan Tech (idle)
6) Michigan State (swept Western Michigan)
7) Northern Michigan (swept by Ohio State)

Each week during the season, MichiganCollegeHockey.com staffers will compile the MiCHO Power Poll. Contrary to popular belief, there is no coin flip involved. The poll comprises the seven Division I teams in the state of Michigan.
