Michigan State took both games on the road last weekend against Ohio State and won both by coming from behind.
Trailing 3-1 midway through the second period Friday night, the Spartans scored five straight goals to defeat Ohio State, 6-3.
MSU captain Torey Krug led the charge with a goal and two assists. Dean Chelios, A.J. Sturges, Matt Crandell, Chris Forfar and Matt Berry also scored, while Anthony Hayes tallied three assists for the Spartans.
Will Yanakeff stopped 41 shots in goal for MSU.
Saturday night, Michigan State scored three straight goals and held on to top the Buckeyes, 3-2, sweeping the series and extending the Buckeyes' winless streak to 10 games.
Krug scored the game-winning goal on the power play, while Berry and Jake Chelios rounded out the scoring for the Spartans.
Greg Wolfe had a pair of assists and Brett Perlini added three helpers.
Yanakeff finished with 33 saves to earn his tenth win of the season.
Michigan State (15-11-4, 10-9-3-2 CCHA) will now get set to play a home-and-home with Michigan starting Friday night in East Lansing and culminating Saturday night at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.
