The first MiCHO Power Poll of 2013 is now posted:
1. Western Michigan (runner-up in GLI)
2. Michigan Tech (won GLI)
3. Ferris State (placed third in Florida College Hockey Classic)
4. Lake Superior State (idle)
5. Michigan (placed third in GLI)
6. Northern Michigan (idle)
7. Michigan State (placed fourth in GLI)
Each week during the regular season, MichiganCollegeHockey.com staffers will compile the MiCHO Power Poll. Contrary to popular belief, there is no coin flip involved. The poll comprises the seven Division I teams in the state of Michigan.
