The Midwest Regional between Miami and Michigan is underway in Fort Wayne.
With under a minute to go in the opening period, it's tied, 1-1. Pat Cannone (power play) scored for Miami at 12:07, while David Wohlberg replied 94 seconds later at 13:41.
Connor Knapp is in net for Miami and Shawn Hunwick for Michigan.
At the end of one, it's still Michigan 1, Miami 1.

Miami on the power play at 18:27 - Wohlberg to the box for hitting Justin Vaive after the whistle. Vaive looked to dive, but the ref bought it.

Third period under way.
At 4:09, Kevin Lynch put a shot on Knapp that didn't go in, but rested on the goal line and after a review, the right call was made - no goal. Steven Spinell hit Wohlberg after the whistle and we go to a Michigan power play.
Still 2-2 with 11:58 left in the third.
Crunch time - 7:30 to go and still a 2-2 game.
6:16 left - next goal wins it appears.
Trent Vogelhuber hits the post at 17:00 and Hunwick covers. Play gets reviewed and again, the right call is made. Miami is REALLY pressing right now.

Puck loose, the whistle blows and Lynch should have the game-winner. Refs blew that one. Bad, bad call. Play is under review, though.

What a game, though. What a game. Kind of sucks someone had to lose. Michigan has nothing to be ashamed of. Not one thing.
