The Ferris State Bulldogs (4-8-0, 1-5-0 CCHA) assembled their longest winning streak of the season over the weekend as they swept the Connecticut Huskies in non-con action at the Ewigleben Ice Arena.
Sophomore blueliner Joe Van Culin led the ‘Dogs with the game-winner and an assist in a 5-3 win over the Huskies in Big Rapids on Friday night.
Saturday evening the Bulldogs got a pair of markers from sophomore Mark Bomersback (3-6--9) and completed the two-game run with a 5-2 victory.
The Bulldogs will take their two-game winning streak on the road this weekend for a pair of games against the Lake Superior State Lakers (2-6-0, 2-4-0 CCHA) at the Taffy Abel Arena in Sault Ste. Marie.
