Finlandia lost both of their games last weekend, albeit exhibition games against Minot State-Bottineau (North Dakota).
Friday night, the Lions out-shot Bottineau 40-17, but couldn't beat MSU goalie Kyle Knudsen. Finlandia sophomore goalie Joe Juntilla made 15 saves and allowed both goals to Eric Bury.
Finlandia lost 4-2 Saturday night.
The Lions (1-0-0) are back on the ice this weekend at home against the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Game time Friday night is 7:00 p.m and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Houghton County Arena.
