Wayne State senior goaltender Tina Thibideau has been selected College Hockey America Defensive Player of the Week.
Thibideau recorded her third win of the season last Saturday at St. Cloud State by stopping 21 of the Huskies' 23 shots.
This is the first time in her career as a Warrior she has been awarded this honor.
Wayne State returns to competition with a two-game series at City Sports Center Arena on Nov. 27-28 against Cornell.
