Friday

The Western Michigan Broncos kept their hot streak alive as they dumped the Ferris State Bulldogs, 5-3, at the Lawson Arena on Friday night.

The Broncs have now won a season high three games in a row and four times in the last five contests.

Brian Bicek led Western with a pair of goals and Paul Szczechura registered three assists.

In net, it was the Daniel Bellissimo show again as the Toronto freshman turned aside 45 of 48 shots to move his personal record to 8-4-1.

Charging Broncos…

The Broncos will now head to the John S. Glas Fieldhouse for a pair of non-conference games against the CHA’s Bemidji State Beavers (7-5-0) on 12/17 and 12/18.

WMU is currently 4-0 against CHA schools this season, having swept Niagara and Alabama-Huntsville at the Lawson Arena in Kalamazoo.
