Warrior women skunked at St. Lawrence

The Wayne State women's team (5-10-3) ran into a wall in the form of No. 7-ranked St. Lawrence last weekend and dropped a pair to the Saints, 2-1 and 2-0 in Canton, N.Y.

Friday, junior Emily McGrath-Agg netted WSU's lone goal and senior goalie Tina Thibideau made 26 saves.

On Saturday, freshman goalie Val Turcotte stopped 32 shots for the Warriors.

Wayne State is off for exams and will play its final non-conference series of the season on December 29-30 at Union College. All 12 games in 2005 for the Warriors will be College Hockey America league contests.
