MTU Releases '05-'06 Schedule

Michigan Tech University has announced the preliminary schedule for the upcoming 2005-2006 season.

New to the schedule for the upcoming season is the early season tournament in Alaska and only one home-and-home series with their U.P. rival, Northern Michigan.

As normal, MTU has a tough road in the WCHA, with away weekends at three of this years Frozen Four Finalists (Denver, Colorado College, and North Dakota).

Non-conference games include the home opening series against Mercyhurst, Vermont and RPI at the NYE Classic in Alaska, Northern Michigan, and an opening round match-up with the Michigan State Spartans at the Great Lakes Invitational at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.
