Senior defenseman Adam Welch will wear the captain's 'C' on his jersey for the third consecutive season for Ferris State in 2007-2008.Juniors Matt Frank and Alex Spezia along with sophomore Cody Chupp were named assistant captains.
Welch becomes only the fourth skater in the program's history to serve as team captain for more than two seasons. Ed Turner (1976-80), Jim Baker (1979-82) and Jim File (1981-84) are also members of the elite group.
