MiCHO Power Poll 10.22.08

The puck has dropped another action-packed college hockey season and with it, another version of the MichiganCollegeHockey.com Power Poll.

For the first poll of the season, we begin right where we left off last season with the Michigan Wolverines sitting in the No. 1 spot.

After sweeping St. Lawrence in their opener at Yost last weekend, the Maize and Blue went on the road and fought to a split with the Northern Michigan Wildcats at the Berry Events Center.

Michigan State sits at No. 2 as the Green and White continued their campaign against East Coast teams, splitting with UMass.-Lowell at Munn.

The ‘Cats round out the top three with a 2-2-0 record and will be in East Lansing to face the Spartans next weekend.

Complete Poll

1) Michigan, 3-1-0 (split @ #18 NMU)
2) Michigan State, 2-2-0 (split w UMass-Lowell)
3) Northern Michigan, 2-2-0 (split with #5 UM)
4) Michigan Tech, 1-3-0 (swept @ #1 CC)
