MiCHO Power Poll 01.13.10

With their sweep of Notre Dame last weekend, Ferris State is back on top of the MiCHO Power Poll.

The Bulldogs, the surprise team quite possibly in all of college hockey, returns to the top spot in the poll, a spot they held for several weeks back in December.

Michigan State, despite beating and tying Lake Superior State, another up-and-coming squad, slips to the No. 2 ranking.

The third and fourth spots also flip-flopped this week, with Michigan jumping back up to No. 3 and LSSU going down one notch to four.

The rest of the poll looks the same as last week.

1) Ferris State (swept Notre Dame)
2) Michigan State (beat, tied Lake Superior State)
3) Michigan (swept Western Michigan)
4) Lake Superior State (lost, tied Michigan State)
5) Northern Michigan (idle)
6) Western Michigan (swept by Michigan)
7) Michigan Tech (swept by St. Cloud State)

Each week, MichiganCollegeHockey.com staffers will compile the MiCHO Power Poll. The poll will comprise the seven Division I teams in the state of Michigan.
