Western Michigan scored three consecutive goals in the first two periods of play en route to a victory over No. 12 Union, 3-1, to complete a series sweep Sunday.
On home ice in Kalamazoo, the Broncos tallied two goals in 29 seconds in the second period. Max Campbell tallied the lone goal in the first period, followed by goals from Mike Levendusky and Kyle O’Kane in the second period.
Ben Warda notched two assists and goaltender Jerry Kuhn made 18 saves for Western Michigan.
Saturday night, WMU scored a 2-1 win over the Dutchmen on two goals by Shane Berschbach and Kuhn's 23 saves.
The Broncos head into their holiday break with 10 victories overall (10-6-4), two more than they registered in the entire 2009-2010 season.
