Finlandia's women's team is still winless after two losses at home last weekend to Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Friday, the visitors took a 5-0 shutout, but Finlandia freshman goalie Corinne Czekaj did record 40 saves.
Saturday, freshman Bree Cote scored twice and freshman Casey Cole also scored, but the Lions fell short, 4-3. Freshman Ashley Leitch added two assists and sophomore goalie Katie Markowich stopped 32 shots.
The Lions (0-8-0, 0-4-0 NCHA) travel to Robert Morris College this weekend for two exhibition games.
