MiCHO Power Poll 02.24.10

Not much has changed since last week's MiCHO Power Poll.

The Michigan State Spartans remain in the top spot, followed closely behind by Ferris State and Michigan.

MSU split with Ferris State and while the Bulldogs have a slight edge in overall record, the Spartans still sit atop the poll - just barely.

Northern Michigan, fresh off a split with the Wolverines, are No. 4 this week.

Lake Superior State, Western Michigan and Michigan Tech round out the lower half of the poll.

1) Michigan State (split with Ferris State)
2) Ferris State (split with Michigan State)
3) Michigan (split with Northern Michigan)
4) Northern Michigan (split with Michigan)
5) Lake Superior State (swept by Alaska)
6) Western Michigan (tied, lost to Ohio State)
7) Michigan Tech (swept by Denver)

Each week, MichiganCollegeHockey.com staffers will compile the MiCHO Power Poll. Contrary to popular belief, there is no coin flip involved. The poll comprises the seven Division I teams in the state of Michigan.
